The Peter Iredale ran ashore on the coast of Oregon in 1906 on its way to Portland, and luckily nobody was seriously injured. Through years of decay, much of the ship has been lost. Though I’ve traveled to Oregon several times, this most recent trip was the first time I’ve visited the shipwreck.
My typical photography consists of completely natural elements, and it very rarely contains anything human-made. However, I really enjoyed photographing the Peter Iredale.
